I've gone from teaching high school, to middle school, and for the past 10+ years, elementary. I've honestly loved every grade, level and subject I've taught. Why? Because I teach to the brain and spirit of the student, and not just to the age and subject.
In short, my goals every year are the same; that each student I teach leaves the classroom at the end of the day smarter than when they showed up. And by the end of the year, these academically and intellectually evolved students walk out my door for the last time literally unstoppable in their quest to pursuing and achieving their greatest dreams.
It can be done, it is being done, and we teachers are the ones making it happen!
